I only go here to get my hair done. It is an amazing experience and you feel like family. They have such a variety of services and keep you comfortable while your there. There are many other things you can purchase such as sunglasses and custom jewelry. The people whom work there are experts and make sure your satisfied once your done. It's an overall fun and great experience, a good girls day out.

Nicole gave me an Awesome hair cut and color! I am a blonde so my hair can easily be over processed and dull looking if I dont get my hair done correctly. Nicole's service made my hair look healthy and alive again! Not only did my hair look amazing when i left the salon, but she suggested easy steps in keeping my hair looking just as beautiful at home. I strongly recommend anyone wanting there hair to look healthy and beautiful again to visit Nicole at the Loft Salon and Gallery, you wont regret it!

I have gone to Charlie for a few years now. I too, have followed him from his other salon because he does such a geat job, consistently!! He will listen to what you have to say, provide feedback and even tell you NO when he needs to be your hair's voice! The photography by Jonny is beautiful and adds flavor to their space! Oh, and don't forget to check out the floor.... actually, you can't miss it!

Kelly Rundle has been coloring my hair for about a year now. She is the only person I will ever trust with my hair now. She transformed my damaged hair.If you haven't heard of balyage- it is the modern, more natural way to highlight your hair. It means to paint in french. Kelly is nothing short of an artist when she hand picks and paints these face framing, skin brightening highlights. I have never gotten more compliments on my hair than when she colors it. Kelly really had given me my favorite hair. The goal was to look like a victorias secret supermodel, and the hair is spot on!
Oh and the salon itself is gorgeous, the music isn't too loud.

Charlie is a phenomenal hair designer. I have been seeing him for about 2yrs and love what he has done with my hair and consistenly pleased with the look. The cut and color is hip and beautiful. I have seen many of the top hair stylist in Seattle and he is the best. Atmosphere is urban with friendly service. I am excited for the growth of the Salon to be a full service salon with the continuous high standard Charlie has provided over the years.

I think that everyone should give The Loft a try. When I come to The Loft, I feel like a super model. The super cute receptionist greets me with a gourmet iced vanilla late in the summer and hot herbal tea during the cool winter months. I leave behind my busy life and get pampered at the salon. Charlie has improved my self esteem with his fantasic styles. I am never sure what I want when I come in, but he always has an idea. Whether it be an inverted graduated bob or sensational, long "sun bleached" layers, I always leave feeling refreshed and better about myself. With Charlie and The Loft in my life, I have left behind the pony tail look. Charlie has styled my hair for two weddings. I have felt as beautiful as the bride and probably gotten more compliments. People rave about my hair whenever Charlie does it. I feel like so much more than a mother of two and a fifth grade teacher from Arlington.

Charlie has been doing my hair for about 8 months now, and he has completely transformed it . I was having so many problems with finding the right color and cut for my skin tone and face structure. Plus, i t was so damaged and frizzy from all the highlights I had the past few years. He promised that after 6 months it would be like new. He was right! My last color/highlight and cut was absolutely terrific. I have been getting so many compliments and the best part is how easy it has been to style. It has never been this easy and I have never had so many different ways to style it before, depending on how much time I have or the look I want. Plus, I always feel so comfortable there. The salon is very classy and beautiful, with the artwork from Johnny and the way they have set up the stations and designed the space.

I highly recommend going to The Loft Salon & Gallery. I just got my hair cut and styled there and wanted everyone to know how amazing the salon is. I have experienced different salons and stylist but, nothing compares to The Loft, which is the best hair salon in Seattle! Charlie is an outstanding stylist, very friendly, outgoing, and a sweetheart. I will trust Charlie with my hair and nobody else. The atmosphere in the salon is another story. I love all of the creative and talented work done by Jonny Bean on the walls, which adds to the trendy environment. Make sure you give this salon a try, you will not be dissapointed!!

I got a cut and color from Charlie and I love it! I'd had long hair down to my waist for years and was ready for a change. Charlie listened to what I wanted, then threw in his own suggestions and I'm so glad I listened to him! My husband loved my new hairstyle too, which is a absolute bonus! The atmosphere of the salon is is also enhanced by the beautiful photography by Jonny Bean. I'd definitely recommend Charlie and the Loft to anyone who wants a great cut and is ready for a new experience!

This is, hands down, the best salon in Seattle. Even when I don't know what will look good, the master haircutters here do! I am assured many, many compliments every time I leave. I have never been so happy with my hair.

I have been to some of the most expensive salons in Seattle on the Eastside, but Charlie is the best. He does amazing cuts and colors. I love my hair and would definitely recommend him to anyone. The Loft salon and gallery is warm and welcoming. The pictures are beautiful and inspiring. For an amazing hair cut in a peaceful and serene setting definitely get your hair done at The Loft.

Charlie has been doing my hair for years. I've been following him around like a puppy dog to various salons in the greater Seattle area, so when he finally opened his own salon I was thrilled! I love the location. It's right on Roosevelt with tons of street parking and lots of shops and restaurants near by. The salon is quite large, but still feels very warm and cozy with the brown walls and dark wood and green plants. The beautiful artwork on the wall is by John Bean, a great photographer.
I would highly recommend this salon if you're looking for an awesome haircut and perfect color by a seasoned professional. Charlie has been doing hair for 20+ years. He knows his stuff.
